A manifestação "Je Suis Charlie" a caminho do Aeroporto.
As you may know from my instagram or facebook, I started the year with a trip to Paris.
It was scheduled for a long time, we changed three times and always for the same reason - WORK.
Normally my trips to Paris include a cultural part, some exhibition, museum, fair etc., trying new restaurants, come back to the one´s the liked and buy some spices, jams, mustard and kitchen accessories.
We went the day after of the Charlie Hebdo Journal attack and still felt some reassurance despite the sirens and police cars throughout the city.
On Friday (when happened the kidnapping at the Kosher supermarket) were in Marrais neighborhood, without even knowing what was happening, all stores began to close.
Only a few hours later and after lunch that we realized what was going on.
We then saw signs in some stores saying "by police recommendation we are closed all day".
They only done that because it was the Jewish quarter.
We left that area and went to see the exhibition of one of my favorite artists, Jeff Koons.
Even with all the incidents, the weekend was wonderful and here are some pictures of the restaurants, food, drink, views, architecture and findings on the City of Lights!
