O Festival Wilderness começou há 5 anos e tem lugar na propriedade de Oxfordshire (aproximadamente a uma hora de carro de Londres). Um festival não só de musica mas com diversas actividades como workshops, yoga, meditação, massagens, acupuntura, jogos, palestras, lojas e muita mas muita comida. Os melhores restaurantes londrinos têm lá uma banca, e a variedade é tão grande que nem sabemos por onde começar. Desde vegetariano, indiano, sushi, tailandês, asiático, caça, coreano, inglês, francês, macrobiótico, chá das 5...enfim um pouco de tudo.
De comer e chorar por mais!!!
Ficamos na zona chamada Boutique onde tudo já estava/vinha preparado, desde as tendas, colchões, mantas, lanternas, duches de agua quente, as melhores casas de banho portáteis e até cabeleireiro, e maquiagem tinham. Pessoas de todas as idades, famílias com crianças, quase todos ingleses. E é de salientar que ninguém faz barulho a partir as 10h da noite.
Ok, Assim é fácil "sobreviver" a um festival (acho que era a única maneira de eu ir).
O cartaz este ano não foi dos melhores, mas conheci uma ou outra banda diferente e bem divertida.
A decoração estava incrível! Estruturas, as tendas, luzes, tecidos, tapetes, arranjos florais como nunca tinha visto...inspiração ao mais alto nível.
O mais importante foi o convívio, descontração total e três dias em que os telemóveis/rede não funcionaram.

The Wilderness Festival began 5 years ago and it takes place in Oxfordshire (about an hour's drive from London). A music festival with a lot activities such as workshops, yoga, meditation, massages, acupuncture, games, lectures, shopping and tons of food. The best London restaurants have a place there, and the variety is so big that you don't even know where to start. You have vegetarian, Indian, Sushi, Thai, Asian, Korean, English, French, macrobiotic and even the 5 o´clock tea!
To die for!!!
We stayed in the area called boutique where everything was already prepared, from the tents, mattresses, blankets, lanterns, hot showers, the best portable toilets and they even had hairdressers and makeup station. There were people of all ages, families with children, but most of them British.
Ok, so it's easy to "survive" a festival like this (but I think it was the only way for me to go).
The music this year was not the best, but I saw some really fun bands.
The decor was amazing! Structures, tents, lights, fabrics, carpets, floral arrangements that I have never seen before...inspiration at the highest level.
The most important was the friendly and complete relax atmosphere. Three days without you cellphone, there was no connection there.
